Trauma Services
Evidence supports that a prompt delivery of acute-phase services in the first weeks after a traumatic event reduces morbidity years. CIMS can educate your employees about these incidents and prepare them should one occur. Our Specialists assess your work environment and create a strategic plan of action to implement.
This is a valuable medium for screening, reducing acute distress, and information dissemination. Intervention is best conducted on-site, 12 hours or more after the trauma. Our Specialists will analyze and educate groups or individuals after a traumatic incident. The response team will identify which employees may need mental health treatment and follow-up with persons exhibiting a need for continued care.
This behavioral technique is commonly used to treat fear, anxiety disorders and phobias. Through this method, the client is gradually exposed to an anxiety-producing stimulus (often times the site of the traumatic incident) and ultimately able to return to work. Our Specialists have a 95% success rate.
Vocational Services
The purpose of a vocational assessment is to determine the residual employability of the client. Our highly qualified Specialists conduct a review of records, client interview, and testing (when applicable) to ensure all the pertinent vocational information is identified. This valuable information is then utilized to create a case-specific plan of action and a detailed comprehensive report.
This includes a thorough and comprehensive analysis of the entire workspace. Our Specialists compile this valuable information into an analysis report which aids physicians in determining if the client is able to perform the specific position researched.
Successfully placing a client is the primary focus of our vocational rehabilitation process. Our experienced Specialists obtain this goal using a vocational assessment and evaluation, an onsite job analysis, and other professional practices. This is paired with our Specialists’ vast knowledge of the appropriate labor markets to assist in a successful return to work.
This training enlists the client to actively participate in the job development process. From the beginning, he or she is equipped with the tools and guidance to find a job for which they are qualified. Our trained Specialists educate and assist the client to construct a professional cover letter, resume, and interview etiquette. Empowering clients with these skill sets gives them the competitive edge to successfully return to the workforce.

Expert Services
Our Vocational Experts are qualified to testify as experts in state and federal court systems. Their testimony supports or refutes vocational potential and wage-earning capacity conveyed in a vocational assessment. These services are typically employed in general liability, medical disability, and other cases that require evaluation for wage loss and loss of function.
Our Specialists evaluate client employability to determine their wage-earning potential based on the facts of their case. It may be used in mediation, for settlement preparation, or expert testimony.
Our Specialists will assist in reaching equitable settlements by performing an Employability or Spousal Rehabilitation Assessment. This assessment determines the highest level of occupational functioning, ability to make a financial contribution, and a possible need for training and education.
